Stem adapter for Dualtron
A stem adapter has several uses. For example, it allows you to raise your handlebars for greater comfort, especially for taller riders. In addition, a stem adapter gives you access to the full range of stems and handlebars. For example, you can move the handlebars closer or further apart with a longer or shorter stem. But the main advantage is that you can install a larger handlebar, which gives the rider much more stability and greatly reduces the effect of steering at high speeds.
Features of the Dualtron Stem Adapter
This stem adapter was made in-house by our company to meet the needs of riders. We have chosen to produce it in 6061-T6 aluminium, CNC cut directly from the mass, which offers the advantage of obtaining an unbreakable part and a life expectancy superior to that of the scooter itself.
This adapter allows you to use any standard size stem (28.6mm) and thus have the possibility to use the handlebars of your choice, while being able to raise the handlebars thanks to the central tube of 90mm or 140mm.
The stem adaptor is available in three versions of different lengths to suit everyone. The 40mm version keeps the original height, while the 90mm and 140mm versions allow you to raise the handlebars.
The kit contains:
- 1 stem adapter (sizes: 40mm, 90mm or 140mm)
- 2 steel screws 12.9
- 2 nylstop nuts in stainless steel A4
Installation of the Dualtron Stem Adapter
Installation of the stem adapter is simple. Once your original stem has been removed, simply insert it onto the steering column and secure it with the screws provided. All you have to do is add a stem and handlebars to enjoy it.
